Sr. Security Engineer, Application Security

As an Application Security Engineer (AppSec), you will collaborate with software teams to ensure security across a wide variety of cutting-edge services, from digital healthcare to retail without checkout lines.

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain threat models for various projects.
• Conduct manual and automated secure code reviews primarily in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Build security automation tools to streamline development.
• Perform adversarial security analysis using advanced tools.
• Provide security architecture and design guidance to developers.
• Deliver security training and outreach for internal teams.
• Act as a problem solver for complex security challenges.
• Influence decision-making across teams to improve security outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

• 13+ years of experience in areas like application security, offensive security, or systems security.
• Expertise in threat modeling, source code reviews, and security vulnerabilities.
• Strong communication skills to adapt messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to autonomously drive complex security reviews.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong background in application security with a focus on scalable solutions.
• Experience with AWS architecture and security.
• Strong judgment in assessing and prioritizing technical risks.
