In this position, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Bing Tech. You will work with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, researchers, analysts, and marketers to create innovative features that drive business growth and delight users. Collaboration with internal and external partners, such as Windows OS, Edge, CoPilot, and 3rd party providers, will also be essential to leveraging data, content, and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and Communicate Product Vision and Strategy: Lead the product vision and strategic roadmap for the Bing Tech team.
AI and Machine Learning: Utilize AI and machine learning techniques to better understand users’ intent and deliver accurate answers in search results.
Monitor and Analyze Product Performance: Regularly measure product performance and gather user feedback to drive improvements.
Product Development Lifecycle: Oversee the product backlog and manage the product development lifecycle by prioritizing key features.
Manage Multiple Work Streams: Handle various projects simultaneously, ensuring data-driven decision-making and experimentation with strong data analysis skills.
Subject Matter Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of the product space to become a subject matter expert in Bing Tech and search-related services.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work with engineers, designers, analysts, and marketers to deliver high-quality features and products that meet user needs.
Leverage Internal and External Partnerships: Collaborate with partners like Windows OS, Edge, and CoPilot to integrate their data and insights for enhancing Bing Tech.
User Research and Market Analysis: Conduct research, analyze market trends, and perform competitive benchmarking to identify user needs and market opportunities.
Define Product Requirements and Success Metrics: Establish product requirements, specifications, and success metrics to measure the impact of new features.
Testing and Validation: Run A/B tests and other experiments to validate product assumptions and hypotheses.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:

- 12+ years of experience in a relevant technical role, preferably in product management.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across virtual teams without direct authority.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with a growth-oriented mindset.
- Experience thriving in ambiguous business situations, with a willingness to iterate quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in machine learning, Big Data analytics, data management, or cloud technologies.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale distributed systems or scalable software solutions.
- Experience in internet search technologies or any other large-scale software systems.
