Software Development Engineer I – Amazon (Hyderabad)

This position is part of Amazon's Rekindle Returnship Program, which provides an opportunity for professionals returning to the workforce after a break. The selected candidate will work within the Amazon IN Payments team on the PayUI initiative, a greenfield project aimed at building standardized UX components for Amazon Pay pages. This project plays a crucial role in creating a unified platform to enhance customer experiences in Amazon Pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and multiple client teams to build large-scale rendering platforms for Amazon Pay.
• Contribute to the full lifecycle of development including reviewing requirements, designing services, building and testing UX components, and delivering seamless payment experiences.
• Define, design, and prototype customer experiences for various Amazon Pay use cases.
• Develop and test code to create reusable UX components across all Amazon Pay pages.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field.
• Experience in building scalable, high-quality software platforms, and systems.
