IT Auditor Manager – Amazon (Karnataka)

Amazon is seeking a Senior IT Auditor Manager for its Finance Operations Risk and Intelligence (FORI) team. This role involves conducting IT audits and managing projects related to various technologies within Amazon's complex service-oriented architecture (SOA). The successful candidate will need both technical and commercial knowledge, an ability to understand new concepts quickly, and a skillset that blends technology comprehension with business risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting IT audits and overseeing audit projects related to technologies supporting finance operations, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, corporate facilities, and payroll processes.
• Managing audits and creating detailed project plans, performing data analytics, reviewing results, and drafting audit findings.
• Collaborating with software development engineers and business leaders to identify and mitigate risks in business processes such as financial, regulatory compliance, operations, and policies.
• Translating technical risks into business-relevant concerns, proposing mitigation strategies, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
• Acting as a subject matter expert on technologies within finance operations and recommending improvements to existing controls to reduce risk.
• Leading audits from initiation to completion, often managing multiple audits concurrently.
• Supporting FORI leadership with adhoc assignments and providing project management assistance.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or a similar field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Professional auditing qualification or equivalent risk or compliance certifications.
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
