As part of the Catalog Support and Programs (CSP) team, you will support a range of ASCS engineering teams, ensuring their systems are resilient, compliant, and optimized for performance. You will work with cutting-edge AWS services, deploy tools to improve operational efficiency, and develop metrics and alarms to monitor system health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Support: Handle system and service tickets for multiple products, features, and services, providing comprehensive support across ASCS.
- Software Deployment: Assist in software deployment across staging and production environments.
- Problem Solving: Provide logical, maintainable solutions to defined problems using appropriate technologies, delivered on time.
- Best Practices: Learn and apply engineering best practices through design, code reviews, and feedback.
- Technical Scoping: Identify and scope issues, propose technical trade-offs, and estimate solution costs.
- Operational Excellence: Troubleshoot and resolve defects to maintain operational excellence.
- Compliance: Lead campaigns to control compliance risks for ASCS systems.

- Automation: Experience building automation tools (for building, testing, releasing, or monitoring systems).
- Experience: At least 1 year in DevOps or SysOps within large-scale software environments.
- Troubleshooting: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Scripting: Proficiency in Python.
- Distributed Systems: Experience with high-throughput, highly concurrent systems and complex distributed architectures.
- AWS: Knowledge of AWS services and concepts.
- Collaboration: Experience working across time zones and managing handoff processes.
- SDLC: Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
