Amazon Is Hiring In India Sr. Data Scientist

As part of this mission, the Analytics and Operations Planning (AOP) team enables analytical capabilities to enhance customer processes in the IN-ECCF regions. We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with expertise in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to develop innovative models and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Science & ML Expertise: Develop, prototype, and productionize models using Supervised (e.g., Linear/Logistic Regression), Unsupervised (e.g., K-means clustering), and Reinforcement Learning techniques.
• Generative AI: Utilize Generative AI to design state-of-the-art solutions for complex, novel problems.
• Feature Engineering & EDA: Perform feature engineering and exploratory data analysis on large datasets.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, and partner teams, aligning strategies for data-driven solutions.
• Data Management: Build and manage large-scale datasets, optimizing data flows from production to end-user applications and reports.
• Scalability: Develop fault-tolerant, scalable data solutions using distributed ML and statistical algorithms.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in data science or similar roles involving data extraction, analysis, and statistical modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science).
• Experience with statistical models (e.g., multinomial logistic regression).
• Proficiency in data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) or statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab).
• Strong knowledge of deep learning and experience in deploying ML solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the AWS tech stack (e.g., AWS Redshift, S3, EC2, Glue).
• Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative field.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and deploying Generative AI solutions.
