Role: Virtual Amazon Games Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Address a wide range of gaming use cases via phone, chat, email, and other channels. This includes general information, account troubleshooting, in-game support, and handling trust and safety issues.
- Forum Moderation: Moderate game forums on both first- and third-party platforms.
- Issue Identification: Identify recurring issues and contact drivers during the alpha, beta, and general availability phases.
- Escalation: Escalate critical ongoing issues and player trust and safety concerns.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Gaming Experience: Extensive experience in MMORPGs and other online gaming genres across multiple gaming platforms.
- Gaming Culture: Deep understanding of gaming culture, including appropriate behavior and terminology such as "GGWP."
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in gaming hardware, platforms, and networking technologies.
- Platform Familiarity: Familiarity with multiple gaming platforms is preferred.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to comprehend and troubleshoot complex technical information.
- Customer Service Skills: Proven history of excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and conflict resolution abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hardcore Gamer
- Extensive MMORPG experience
- Multi-platform gaming experience
- Experience moderating community forums
Technical Requirements:
- Internet Connection: Reliable ISP with a minimum bandwidth of 100 Mbps via DSL or cable modem. Other forms of connectivity are not allowed.
- Power Backup: 6 hours of personal power backup.
- Phone Line: Dedicated analog telephone landline/mobile phone from a reliable carrier, installed before starting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Right to work in India
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and oral)
- Experience working with a computer
- Availability to work varying shifts from Monday to Sunday within the operating hours of 6 am to 11 pm
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including early, late, overnight, and weekends
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace with a dedicated office space (desk and chair)
- Minimum broadband connection of 100MB download and 20MB upload speed using a hard-wired Ethernet connection (no Wi-Fi)
