Role: Virtual Amazon Games Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Provide assistance via phone, chat, email, and other channels for a variety of gaming use cases, including account troubleshooting, in-game support, and trust and safety issues.
- Forum Moderation: Moderate game forums on both first- and third-party platforms.
- Issue Identification: Identify recurring issues and contact drivers during the alpha, beta, and GA phases.
- Escalation: Escalate critical ongoing issues and player trust and safety concerns.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Gaming Experience: Extensive background in MMORPGs and other online gaming genres across multiple gaming platforms.
- Gaming Culture: Familiarity with gaming culture, understanding terms like "GGWP" and appropriate online behavior.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of gaming hardware, platforms, and networking technologies.
- Multi-Platform Familiarity: Knowledge of multiple gaming platforms is preferred.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to understand complex technical information to troubleshoot customer issues effectively.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, demonstrating outstanding customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hardcore Gamer
- Extensive MMORPG experience
- Multi-platform gaming experience
- Experience moderating community forums
Technical Requirements:
- Internet Connection: Reliable ISP with a minimum bandwidth of 100 Mbps via DSL or cable modem. Other forms of connectivity are not allowed.
- Power Backup: 6 hours of personal power backup.
- Phone Line: Dedicated analog telephone landline/mobile phone from a reliable carrier (to be installed before starting).
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Must have the right to work in India
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills
- Flexibility to work varying shifts from Monday to Sunday within the operating hours of 6 am and 11 pm
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including early, late, overnight, and weekends
- A quiet, distraction-free workspace with a dedicated office space (desk and chair)
- Minimum broadband connection of 100MB download and 20MB upload speed via hard-wired Ethernet (no Wi-Fi)
