Responsibilities
- Technical Specifications: Prepare technical specifications and documentation for technology solutions to support downstream applications.
- Risk Management: Assess and manage project and application risks and issues.
- Team Collaboration: Work with a team of analysts and SMEs to identify and remediate functional gaps, driving continuous process improvements.
- Documentation: Document product artifacts including TOMs, control frameworks, business requirements, user stories, and test plans.
- Data Analytics: Provide data wrangling and analytics operations.
- Report Specifications: Draft report specifications after analyzing and understanding complex database schemas.
- Communication: Prepare and communicate through effective presentations and written communications.
Required Skills and Experience
- Industry Experience: 8+ years of technical experience in the financial services industry.
- Data Analytics: 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL or other data analytics tools.
- Business Analysis: 5+ years of business analysis experience, including specification writing and critical thinking.
- Investment Banking: Demonstrable experience in investment banking with regulatory reporting capability.
- Agile Methodologies: Knowledgeable with Jira and agile methodologies.
- Requirements Gathering: Experience working with diverse teams and competing interests for requirements gathering and analyzing technical trade-offs.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
- Innovation Mindset: Highly capable of thinking systematically and redefining solutions to overcome competitors and solve problems.
