Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Design: Create and optimize manufacturing processes, focusing on workflow, material flow, equipment selection, and production layout.
  • Issue Resolution: Provide rapid corrective action to address manufacturing issues, ensuring no impact on customers, production schedules, or eFAI approvals.
  • Support NPI Phases: Collaborate on new product introduction (NPI) phases, including timely completion of NUDD/DFX reviews and issue resolution.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes and inspection methods to ensure products meet established quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement strategies for process improvement, focusing on increasing productivity, reducing waste, and enhancing efficiency using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Equipment & Tooling: Select and design equipment, tools, and fixtures to support manufacturing processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, production supervisors, quality control personnel, and supply chain managers to improve production processes and drive operational efficiency.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8+ years in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on global operations.
  • Skills: Expertise in process design, quality assurance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Global Role: Experience working in a global capacity, managing multi-site manufacturing operations.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams across various regions and functions.
