Asset Management Specialist
As an Asset Management Specialist at Lenovo, you will oversee IT asset inventory management, ensuring efficient tracking, allocation, de-allocation, and reporting of hardware and software assets. This role includes managing day-to-day asset operations, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining asset databases. You'll be responsible for managing warranty details, software licenses, and spare parts, while also supporting internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities:
- IT Asset Management: Manage hardware and software assets, including allocation, de-allocation, tracking, and classification.
- Database & Documentation: Maintain an updated online asset database, handle asset records (both hard and soft copies), and track inventory, AMC, and warranty details.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage assets throughout their lifecycle, including lost, non-working, or scrap assets.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly MIS/weekly asset management reports and notify stakeholders of end-of-life assets.
- Audits & Compliance: Support internal/external audits and ensure software license management is in order.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors for asset-related matters.
- Store Management: Manage spares and consumables inventory, like printer cartridges.
- Teamwork: Lead a team or work as part of a team, ensuring processes are followed and improved where necessary.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in MS Excel
- Experience in IT Asset Management tools
- Ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with Asset Lifecycle Management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in vendor management
