Finance Controller - India Online Business
As a Finance Controller for Lenovo’s India Online Business, you will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support business strategies, sales, and operations. This role requires close collaboration with sales teams, internal finance functions, and external stakeholders to ensure optimal financial performance and compliance with established policies.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Sales Support:
- Conduct long- and short-term financial analysis to guide business decisions.
- Accurately translate business initiatives into business cases by working closely with sales teams, external customers, and internal departments.
- Implement and ensure adherence to pricing policies, sales rebates, incentive plans, and expense management.
Financial Operations Support:
- Liaise with finance functions (Accounting, Tax, Credits/Receivables) to ensure alignment with business financial goals.
- Support sales team communication with Legal, Internal Audit, and Global Trade Compliance teams.
- Collaborate with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and Product Operations to manage channel inventory, provisions, and reconciliation.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Case Formulation:
- Assist leadership with annual financial budgeting and updates.
- Oversee monthly financial closing and forecasting in collaboration with the sales team.
- Develop business cases and sales plans at the product/customer level.
Reporting & Presentation:
- Prepare performance reviews at both regional and corporate levels.
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations for senior leadership, board meetings, and strategic committees.
- Track gross profit weekly and monthly, identify profit improvement areas, and ensure financial results meet budget requirements.
Compliance & Process Adherence:
- Ensure full reconciliation of balance sheet accounts regularly.
- Maintain zero deviations in operational processes and delegation.
- Provide effective MIS and ROI analysis to drive business decisions.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Achieve budgetary targets and ensure operations align with Lenovo’s financial policies.
- Improve profits by identifying growth areas.
- Effective and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong collaboration skills with sales and finance teams.
- Ability to prepare and present financial reports for senior leadership.
