Job Description:
As a Senior Program Manager (Line Haul) for the Transportation Resource Center (TRC), you will manage carrier operations within your assigned region. This role is integral to the Line Haul operations team, where you will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the LH Surface Operations Team and external partners like vendors and carriers. You will be responsible for compliance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing carrier relationships, and planning for any network changes. You’ll need strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and a drive to succeed in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage weekly creation and monitoring of line haul carrier compliance metrics.
- Oversee carrier performance management (e.g., compliance scores).
- Coordinate with VAS providers and ensure their management.
- Track and detect any defects within existing metrics, improving processes as needed.
- Develop and implement SOPs for continuous improvement initiatives with carriers.
- Lead carrier relationships with senior leaders for 1-2 key carriers.
- Assist with project support, ensuring that Amazon's requirements, guidelines, and policies are communicated and executed by transportation carriers.
- Mediate communication between Amazon and external carriers to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze and assess industry changes and their impact on compliance.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of program or project management experience.
- 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
- 3+ years of experience implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
- Experience in defining program requirements and using data and metrics for improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
- 3+ years of experience driving process improvements.
- Experience in stakeholder management at various levels of the organization.
- Expertise in project management, building processes, and scheduling.
