Job Description:
As a Delivery Practice Manager within AWS Professional Services, you’ll lead and guide enterprise clients through transformative IT projects, encompassing IT Strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations. This role is pivotal in building strong customer relationships, driving AWS adoption, and delivering high-quality solutions to meet complex enterprise needs. You’ll work closely with AWS teams and customers to innovate, tailor, and implement AWS solutions across industries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to expand AWS adoption in key accounts and regions.
- Infrastructure Projects: Lead on-site projects to demonstrate the value of AWS services for new distributed computing models.
- Coaching & Training: Educate partners and customers on AWS services, including databases, EC2, S3, IAM, and other cloud offerings.
- High-Quality Delivery: Oversee delivery of custom solutions for enterprise clients in commercial and public sectors.
- Leadership: Recruit and develop high-performing IT talent with strong technical skills and customer relationship expertise.
- Advocacy: Act as a voice for customer needs, relaying feedback to AWS engineering for future roadmaps.
- Organizational Assets: Identify and create scalable patterns and solutions to improve productivity across the customer base.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 15+ years of IT implementation/delivery experience, including 5+ years in IT consulting or Professional Services.
- Experience managing a team of consultants with KRAs and consulting practice management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing strategies and migration.
- Availability to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strategic thinking in business, product, and technical contexts.
- Experience in industry-specific sales and delivery of advanced services and solutions.
- Background in designing scalable consulting delivery models.
- Familiarity with complex agreements with integrators and ISVs.
- International sales experience, particularly with F500 clients and partners.
- Hands-on experience with AWS in distributed environments alongside platforms like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, etc.
- Experience managing large teams or managers in a consulting practice setting.
