Amazon’s HR team is seeking a Benefit Reconciliation Specialist focused on managing and ensuring seamless delivery of Financial and Health & Wellness Benefits for Amazon employees in the U.S. This role entails project management, vendor collaboration, and regular audits, requiring strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and a drive to streamline benefit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Auditing and Reconciliation: Review reports for Health & Wellness and Financial benefits, identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with external vendors to ensure accuracy in benefit data and timely updates on reports.
  • Issue Resolution and Process Improvement: Identify issues affecting employees, work on systemic improvements, and implement solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Standardization: Develop SOPs, process maps, and SIPOC for benefit processes.
  • Performance Tracking: Track key metrics and reconciliation findings for business reviews (weekly, monthly, and quarterly).
  • Plan Compliance: Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure all data complies with legal and contractual standards.
  • Program Management Support: Assist with transitions involving employee services and manage associated vendors.

Qualifications and Skills:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of human resources experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field, or 1+ years of case management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in human resources functions.
  • Familiarity with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience with Payroll and HRIS systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL and ETL tools.
  • Knowledge of Macros/VBA and Redshift for report generation.

Daily Tasks:

The role involves daily reconciliation of benefit reports, identification of data discrepancies, collaboration with benefit program teams, and the resolution of recurring issues. You will work to provide an optimal benefit experience for U.S.-based Amazon employees, ensuring data accuracy and compliance across various benefit programs.
