Current Job Opening: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Mexico City & Guadalajara (Hybrid – Initial remote)
Experience Required: 8-15 years
Role Overview:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Sonata Software, you will play a crucial role in managing multiple products and leading technical teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle. This role demands strategic thinking and a deep understanding of DevOps processes, tools, and frameworks. You will work closely with teams across Security, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Product to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Partner with peers in Security, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Product teams to enhance the quality and speed of deliverables through automation, goal setting, and strategic planning.
- Infrastructure as Code: Develop AWS Infrastructure using AWS Cloud Development Kit via Python or Node.js.
- Pipeline Development: Create and maintain a shared pipeline using GitLab CI.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance through engineering design reviews and support teams in implementing large-scale solutions, including service-oriented architecture and capacity growth.
- Innovation: Design and develop innovative technical solutions, ensuring seamless, efficient, and effective technology infrastructure.
- Incident Support: Ensure the provision of resources for systems' incident support and troubleshooting.
- Standards Adherence: Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure that code adheres to company architectural standards, design patterns, and technical specifications.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for organizational alignment, ensuring that all teams work towards the same vision.
