Role: Virtual Amazon Games Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Provide support for a wide range of gaming-related issues through phone, chat, email, and other channels, including general inquiries, account troubleshooting, in-game support, and game trust and safety issues.
- Forum Moderation: Moderate game forums on both first- and third-party platforms.
- Issue Identification: Identify recurring issues and contact drivers during alpha, beta, and general availability (GA) phases.
- Escalation: Escalate critical ongoing issues and player trust and safety concerns.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Proven gaming experience, particularly in MMORPGs and other online gaming genres across multiple platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of gaming culture (e.g., understanding terms like "GGWP" and appropriate online behavior).
- Strong understanding of gaming hardware, platforms, and networking technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent customer service skills, including outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hardcore gamer with extensive MMORPG experience.
- Multi-platform gaming experience.
- Experience moderating community forums.
Technical Requirements:
- Reliable ISP with a minimum bandwidth of 100 Mbps through DSL or a cable modem.
- 6 hours of personal power backup.
- Dedicated analog telephone landline or mobile phone from a reliable carrier.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- Right to work in India.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and oral fluency).
- Experience working with a computer.
- Availability to work varying shifts from Monday to Sunday within operating hours (6 am to 11 pm).
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts (early, late, overnight, weekend, and overtime as required).
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace with a dedicated desk and chair.
- Technical requirement: Minimum broadband connection of 100MB download speed and 20MB upload speed using a hard-wired Ethernet connection (no Wi-Fi).
