Intel is looking for engineers whose work involves ML Frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Jax. As an AI Software Solutions Engineer, you will design and develop features in AI frameworks software stack and enable and optimize state-of-the-art deep learning models, particularly focusing on the PyTorch framework. You'll collaborate with a cross-geo team to deliver optimized software stacks for Intel Gaudi Deep Learning accelerators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software techniques for AI frameworks, both hardware-agnostic and hardware-aware.
- Enhance and extend the training and inference capabilities in the software stack.
- Profile deep learning inference and training workloads to identify optimization opportunities.
- Debug complex issues in multi-layered software systems.
- Integrate software in large open-source frameworks and internal bridge layers.
Qualifications:
- BTech, MS, or PhD in CS or related fields with 5 to 12 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Advanced C++ (C++ 14/17) and intermediate skills in Python and parallel programming.
- Exposure to ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Working knowledge of operators in PyTorch or TensorFlow and understanding of low-level math kernels.
- Understanding of computer architecture and hardware-software optimization techniques.
- Experience with DL topologies for Vision/NLP/LLM is a plus.
- Practical experience working on frameworks/platforms that have gone to production.
- Knowledge of compiler algorithms for heterogeneous systems.
- Effective communication skills and experience working in a cross-geo setup.
