Job Description

As a Java Spring Boot Developer at TCS, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. You will work with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring, and RESTful web services. Your expertise will contribute to building robust and scalable applications. Below are the key responsibilities and required skills for this role:

Key Responsibilities

• Java Backend Development:

  • Design and build RESTful APIs using Java, Spring, and microservices.
  • Write JUNIT test cases to ensure code quality.
  • Develop and maintain web services using the Spring framework.

• Continuous Integration and Delivery:

  • Utilize CI/CD tools to streamline the development process.
  • Ensure code quality and performance using SONAR Cube.

• Agile Methodology:

  • Participate in agile development processes.
  • Use Jira and other agile tools for project management.

• Version Control:

  • Manage code repositories using SVN or Git.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Java and Groovy.
  • Proficiency in RESTful web services and Spring framework.
  • Experience in writing JUNIT test cases.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Experience using SONAR Cube for code quality.
  • Familiarity with Jira, agile tools, SVN, or Git.
