You will be responsible for managing cross-functional, high-impact programs that involve collaborating with multiple technical teams and business partners. Your role will involve driving roadmap strategy, influencing scalable architectural changes, designing technical solutions, and managing large engineering mechanisms. You will be expected to handle complex customer-facing projects, working closely with technical teams to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Lead large-scale, customer-facing programs impacting international Alexa users, working across multiple technical and business teams.
- Roadmap Strategy: Develop and drive roadmap strategies, influencing numerous technical teams to implement scalable architectural changes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate globally with core technical teams and business units both inside and outside the Alexa organization to understand business needs and provide technical solutions.
- Process Design & Innovation: Assist in the technical design of processes and solutions while innovating new features to improve customer experiences.
- Delivery Management: Drive engineering processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions, while managing cross-functional teams and building sustainable processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
- 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing technical programs directly with software engineering teams.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience, including managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk for high-impact projects.
- Proven experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, creating sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Ability to define KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and present detailed reports to senior leadership.
