Job Title: Sr. Content Marketing Manager, Prime Video India
As a Sr. Content Marketing Manager, your primary focus will be to develop and drive content marketing strategies that resonate with Indian audiences consuming international content. You will be the key person who understands the unique aspects of the titles coming to Prime Video and ensures that they are promoted in ways that reach the right customers effectively. This role requires a customer-first approach and the ability to work cross-functionally with content development teams, marketing teams, talent managers, and external partners.

From binge-watching the latest series to strategizing on how to market a blockbuster film, this role blends creativity, strategy, and analytics. Your passion for movies, TV shows, and entertainment will be instrumental in shaping the way content is perceived and consumed by Amazon Prime Video users.

Core Responsibilities:
Content Marketing Calendar: You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining a content marketing prioritization calendar for international content, aligning campaigns with both Amazon Originals and other movies.
Customer-Centric Strategy: You will work backward from customer insights, analyzing audience behaviors and preferences to create marketing programs that address specific business needs and drive engagement.
Content Expertise: Becoming an expert in various forms of content (unscripted shows, films, and more), you’ll work closely with content teams to develop unique, data-driven marketing strategies that align with Amazon’s larger objectives.
Industry Relationships: Building and nurturing relationships within the entertainment industry will be crucial. You’ll collaborate with local content teams, third-party production houses, talent managers, and talent themselves to ensure successful content promotions.
Content Positioning and Pre-Testing: You’ll be involved early in the content development process, providing insights on audience positioning and participating in research and show pre-testing to identify how content can best reach its target audience.
Data-Driven Marketing Decisions: You will provide data-based marketing recommendations, utilizing in-depth content analysis, customer feedback, and environmental trends to ensure that content marketing efforts are both innovative and impactful.
Defining Success Metrics: You’ll play a key role in redefining how success is measured in the world of digital content marketing. By setting new benchmarks and key performance indicators, you’ll ensure that Amazon Prime Video campaigns stay innovative and effective.
Monitoring Campaign Effectiveness: It will be your job to track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. You’ll determine which channels and creative strategies yield the best results and continually optimize these efforts.
Funneling Customer Insights: Through various data sources, you will develop a framework of content-led customer insights that feed back into the business and influence both short-term and long-term strategies.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional marketing experience (non-internship).
- Experience with data analysis and the ability to use metrics to inform marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in Excel and/or Tableau (ability to manipulate data, build macros, charts, and pivot tables).
- Experience in building and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
- Strong communication skills with experience in reporting results to stakeholders and upper management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns that involve virtual or live events, webinars, email marketing, and customer relationship management (CRM).
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau for lead generation and reporting.
