Qualifications:
Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience; OR 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
Preferred:
- Advanced Education: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 4+ years in solution or services sales, OR 6+ years with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field, OR 7+ years in technology-related sales or account management.
Responsibilities:
Sales Execution:
- Identify customer business needs and propose solutions that align with their technology readiness and industry. Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and services to develop these solutions and drive them to closure.
- Implement strategies to accelerate deal closing, collaborating with account teams, partners, and marketing to track and qualify new opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth through campaigns, portfolio analysis, and other initiatives, and manage the business of the assigned territory, including forecasting and planning.
Sales Excellence:
- Engage in business planning and Rhythm of Business (ROB) meetings to review and plan for accounts.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the portfolio and support customer innovation.
- Ensure customer/partner satisfaction by establishing recovery action plans and coaching others.
Technical Expertise:
- Act as a subject matter expert in Azure Infrastructure, leading conversations with customers and partners.
- Analyze competitor products and implement strategies to position Microsoft’s offerings favorably.
- Mentor others and develop strategies for best practices across Microsoft subsidiaries.
Scaling and Collaboration:
- Apply the orchestration model to expand relationships with internal stakeholders and partners.
- Collaborate with One Commercial Partner (OCP) and other networks to cross-sell and up-sell, identifying and developing new partners.
