Key Responsibilities
People Management:
- Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring.
- Define team objectives and outcomes, enable success across boundaries, and help the team adapt and learn.
- Attract and retain great people, know each individual’s capabilities and aspirations, and invest in their growth.
Sales Execution:
- Act as a thought leader in digital transformation across solution areas, advising customers and representing Google.
- Lead a virtual cross-organizational team on strategic projects and high-impact solution sales deployments.
- Identify and track new opportunities, leveraging stakeholders to build pipelines and drive cloud business growth.
Scaling and Collaboration:
- Build a network of partners to cross-sell and up-sell and drive usage.
- Facilitate the development of partner strategies and ensure execution.
- Promote best practice sharing across subsidiaries and actively participate in the Specialist Sales Leader community.
Technical Expertise:
- Participate in Microsoft events, providing expertise to customers and partners.
- Coach the team on business and market knowledge, reviewing wins and losses to resolve systematic issues.
- Leverage deep technology knowledge to help the team connect Google solutions to customer business impact.
Sales Excellence:
- Explore business and emerging opportunities to optimize the portfolio and facilitate customer innovation.
- Develop deep and influential relationships with client contacts, ensuring customer/partner satisfaction.
- Drive integrated strategic planning to exceed cloud growth, drive consumption, and support revenue.
Qualifications
Required:
- Technology-related sales or account management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
- Eligible for Security Clearance.
Preferred:
- Services sales experience.
- Senior technical sales leadership experience in cloud services growth and consumption.
- People management experience, including managing high-performance sales and technical-specialist teams.
- Experience in Public Sector & National Security or Retail & Consumer Group.
