Job Purpose:
To develop and lead the Customer Marketing strategy for a specific Retail Environment (RE).
Responsibilities:
Trade Segmentation and Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Coordinate with Customer Development and Consumer Insights to develop relevant consumer/shopper segmentation.
- Lead shopper insight development and application by RE.
- Work with Consumer Marketing and Consumer Insights to develop research programs, build expertise for the retail environment, general shopping behavior, and category-specific behavior.
5P Strategy Design:
- Design an effective 5P strategy for the RE to drive share gains in the category.
- Evaluate 5P performance and innovate to find new impactful and cost-effective shopper solutions.
- Evaluate promo effectiveness and take corrective actions.
CP and Category Performance Assessment:
- Develop an RE strategy to exploit incremental sales growth opportunities.
- Establish objectives and KPIs for all categories and ensure tracking mechanisms are in place and utilized.
- Track, review, and modify RE plans to drive consumption cost-effectively and achieve brand objectives within RE and P&L guidelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience:
- 3-4 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 2 years in FMCG.
- 1-2 years of Field Sales experience.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
- Education:
- MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 B-school.
