Job Summary

The Supply Chain Finance Analyst is primarily responsible for performing tasks related to Costing, Inventory, and Fixed Assets Accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Technical CO Closing and Product Costing:

  • Perform and validate Technical CO Closing activities, new product costing, mass product costing, and annual CO budget and planning.

Fixed Assets Management:

  • Handle capitalization, retirement, and master-data maintenance of fixed assets.

Compliance and Controls:

  • Regularly review SOX/internal controls compliances with accurate documentation, report discrepancies/potential risks during peer reviews, and promptly remediate them.

Lease Accounting:

  • Perform lease accounting activities in SAP and the lease governance tool.

Year-End Testing and Reporting:

  • Support and perform year-end testing and validations to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Prepare and review various C&I and FA reports (monthly/quarterly/yearly - management & statutory) to ensure accuracy, analyze variances, and track plant performance.

Support and Collaboration:

  • Ensure support to ATL in backup planning and execution.
  • Escalate and seek support from ATL/TL & other collaborators.
  • Share regular updates on service delivery with ATL/TL and the business team.
  • Take ownership and accountability of workflow completion (FCC/CPRS) on time.
  • Perform root cause analysis to remediate issues (with GIT support if required) and incorporate improvements in SOBPs periodically.
  • Review processes and reports with business regularly for standardization and simplification initiatives, understanding the business perspective, and sharing standard processes across subs/hubs/divisions for continuous process improvement.

Engagement and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Engage regularly and as needed with various collaborators - Business Finance/TL/ATL/GIT/multi-functional teams.
  • Prepare, contribute to, and validate content and quality of decks for Business Engagement/Town Halls.
  • Analyze and report issues to ATLs/TL on time, ensuring timely root cause analysis and detailed reporting.
  • Facilitate ongoing functional learning within the team based on business feedback or own assessment of needs/gaps.
  • Share knowledge as SME and train resources as part of succession planning.
  • Develop key learning models for training programs.

Innovation and Process Improvement:

  • Develop analysis and insights from business data to support informed decision-making by business leaders.
  • Propose and implement process improvement ideas for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Support global projects, CPIs implementation, and efficiency delivery measures.

Experience and Knowledge Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in a related field.
  • Knowledge:
    • SOX, US GAAP, IFRS, Indian AS
    • SAP FI/CO/PA/MM modules
    • Advanced Excel & Google Sheets, BI Reporting platforms
    • Costing, Inventory, and Fixed Assets processes (preferred)
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable handling and analyzing large data sets, developing visualizations in Slides or advanced digital tools like DOMO/Sigma.
  • Experience: Prior experience working with multiple teams and business engagement across virtual platforms.
