Introduction
As part of IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), you will bring deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients worldwide. Our delivery centers offer clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology. As an Application Package Specialist, you will assist clients in selecting, implementing, and supporting application packaged solutions, gaining in-depth consulting skills and business knowledge to effectively integrate packaged technology into clients' business environments.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Client Assistance: Assist clients in the selection, implementation, and support of SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) for SAP.
- Project Leadership: Lead multiple sized projects as a team member or lead to implement new functionalities and improve existing functionalities. This includes articulating, analyzing requirements, and translating them into effective solutions.
- Testing and Support: Prepare and conduct Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing. Provide post-implementation support.
- Implementation Planning: Knowledge and experience in implementation planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout, and post-implementation support.
- Team Collaboration: Work with teams to prioritize work and drive system solutions by clearly articulating business needs.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- SAP Experience: 6+ years of SAP functional experience specializing in design and configuration of SAP CO modules (Cost center accounting, Profit center accounting, Internal order, profitability analysis, product costing).
- Business Requirements: Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detailed specifications for the development of custom programs, testing, coordination of transports to production, and post-go-live support.
- Specifications Creation: Ability to create requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Treasury Experience: Proven work experience in Treasury would be an added advantage.
