Job Opportunity at Wipro: UX Designer

Role Purpose: The UX Designer's role is to conduct user research, interviews, and surveys, utilizing this information to create sitemaps, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes of a product/application by applying design thinking principles.

Responsibilities:

  1. Research and Prototype Development:

    • Understand business and market needs to create product/application prototypes.
    • Facilitate product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products.
    • Deploy various research methods such as surveys, market analysis, qualitative research, web sessions, and interviews to gather inputs on overall product/application design flow.
  2. Design Strategy and User Experience:

    • Create strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core and new functions and features.
    • Apply design thinking to create wireframes as per expected application design.
    • Work closely with business analysts and project managers to understand customer expectations and requirements.
    • Create interaction designs and review them with customers.
  3. User-Centered Design:

    • Identify current limitations faced by clients and users and refine the prototype accordingly.
    • Continuously gather feedback from customers to finalize the design and create the user interface.
    • Conduct mock-ups to support the development of the product.
    • Support user interface design in developing the static design of the prototype to ensure client needs are met.
    • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate the designs.

Stakeholder Interaction:

  • Internal:

    • Business Analysts: Share business/customer requirements.
    • UI Designer: Design the prototype/blueprint created by the UX designer.
    • UI Development and Testing Team: Ensure development aligns with the blueprint.
    • Product Manager: Regular updates and reporting.
  • External:

    • Clients: Client engagement and reviews.
    • End Users: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
