Role Overview
As a Marketing Manager at Snap, you will be part of the team that brings the brand to life, articulates its value, and drives marketing initiatives across the entire Snap ecosystem. The role involves collaborating with various teams, including Sales, Product, Comms, GBX, and Insights, to build and execute impactful marketing programs. You will be at the forefront of Snap’s efforts to localize its app and engage the Indian Snapchatter community, a cornerstone of Snap’s growth since 2019.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy for India, spanning both B2B and B2C marketing.
- Ideate, plan, and execute high-impact marketing programs, including paid media, content marketing, partnerships, event sponsorships, and owned events.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and manage market-leading programs and sponsorships.
- Lead content development for case studies, videos, and marketing collateral that demonstrate the value of Snapchat to clients.
- Identify and fuel new distribution channels to scale and amplify marketing efforts.
- Work with the broader Marketing and Creative team to deliver global B2B and B2C activities and campaigns in the Indian market.
- Partner with Design, Creative, and external vendors to guide the creative execution of deliverables.
- Optimize marketing activity based on results and manage all related administrative tasks for seamless operational execution.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
- 12+ years of relevant marketing experience in an advertising agency or marketing organization.
- Travel required for events as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- An experienced marketing leader and self-starter with demonstrated success in ambiguous environments and cross-functional teams.
- A proven track record in domestic or international marketing roles, building full-funnel advertising campaigns.
- Experience in translating insights, product information, and data into client-facing marketing presentations.
- Operational excellence in managing performance measures, processes, and systems.
- Project and program management expertise and cross-functional leadership.
- Experience in creative production of campaigns, printed collateral, presentations, websites, videos, and other marketing materials.
- Negotiating and managing sponsorship agreements and execution of industry events.
- Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion independently and collaboratively.
